Spotted: A Proposal By Terra Cooper Photography

There is nothing more fantastic than having special events in your life forever frozen in time through photos and we love this proposal from Terra Cooper Photography.  The idea of hiring a photographer to hide and capture this special moment in genius.  This is such an exciting time in life and with all of the excitement and nerves, the details of how a proposal played out can sometimes be forgotten.  Here's what Terra had to say about these amazing images:

"Aaron asked me to take pictures of him proposing to Mandy. I hid behind an archway while squatting on the ground and took pictures of it all playing out.  Funny pre-proposal story--they almost caught us three times- I was literally 10 feet in front of them when we both rounded a corner, but luckily Mandy didn't notice.  He sang a song to her that he had written for her and then got down on one knee. She had NO idea it was coming until she saw the ring (apparently Aaron does cute things for her all of the time-lucky girl).  She cried, they hugged and kissed and then Aaron called my phone to come and take pictures of them. Mandy didn't know we were watching her until he called us-so it went really well inspite of almost being found out!"

Vendor Feature {Elizabeth Taylor Frandsen Photography}

Spring is by far my favorite time of year and favorite time to shoot.  There is just something about blossoms on the trees that make me happy.  Today I am so happy to share a first look/formal session with some gorgeous blossoms from Elizabeth Taylor Frandsen Photography.

The Salt Lake Temple is by far one of the most popular locations for my bride and grooms to be married. It's gorgeous, like getting married in a castle, so I can't blame them. But because it is so popular, it can be tricky to provide my clients with unique images. Luckily, each season brings a change of pace to temple square and I've found that by embracing the current loveliness, I'm able to capture the standard classic images my brides desire, but with a fun twist. There's a short time frame to capture trees in bloom and I was so excited when we arrived on temple square and saw popcorn popping on the apricot trees, or in other words, blossoms a plenty!
